German chancellor Angela Merkel might have promised to keep the future energy costs on a steady level – the reality looks differently. After the population was awaitig her official policy brief, in beginning of October 2011, the expected electricity price range for next year was being announced. And in this context, the additional allowance for green electricity was declared. Stated in the reformed statues for renewable energy, experts expected the figure being higher than actually stipulated. Still, no reason for private consumers to fall into euphoria, since the network operators will be raising their fees drastically – nationwide. Amongst others, as one reason the nuclear power face-out is cited: By now, eight reactors have been shut down already, and according to the persons in power, the break of the economic trend towards using green electricity solely, will be causing evenm ore lifts in prices.
That, despite the fact of the continous increase as to private households using electricity from renewable energy sources.
